A micropub in the old Co-op building at 28 Church Street, Darton, opposite the church, with bare stonework, a wood burning stove and no music, built around conversation rather than screens. Four cask beers, mostly from Nailmaker up the road, and level access off the street. It is a few minutes from the River Dearne footpath and the Barnsley Boundary Walk as it comes through Darton. CAMRA's Barnsley branch record describes it plainly as very dog friendly; the pub publishes no written policy of its own.
