There are plenty of wonderful walking destinations to enjoy including Penhill (5 miles) and Bolton Castle (4 miles). Attractions include the ruins of Middleham Castle the former home of Richard III (4.5 miles) Aysgarth Falls (7 miles) and The Forbidden Corner (5 miles). And the cottage is perfect for exploring the Yorkshire Dales (2.5 miles). The charming market town of Leyburn (2.5 miles) offers a range of traditional shops pubs and cafes as well as the biggest auction house outside London. Imaginatively refurbished and launched in 2018 this former station master s house has been lovingly transformed into a breathtaking holiday home. At the heart of the house is a spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. Filled with light from a glass wall and bi-folding doors this beautiful room also features a double-height ceiling and underfloor heating. The lounge has plenty of cosy seating with a warming wood burner and TV. There s also a delightful dining area and a handy breakfast bar.
