Situated in the far west of the county you ll have the pick of some of Cornwall s finest coves and beaches as well as some idyllic seaside towns and infamous attractions to visit. Pendeen itself is a traditional Cornish village with an award-winning pub a handful of shops and a regular bus service taking you to St Ives where you can explore the quaint cobbled streets variety of restaurants and amenities. Sennen Cove and Gwenver have fantastic beaches and are both dog friendly whilst the ever-popular St Michael s Mount and Minack Theatre are well worth a visit. Take a stroll on the South West Coast Path or venture to Land s End where tourists flock every day. A beautiful detached stone cottage you re assured a relaxing retreat during your stay in this pretty cosy property. Entering into the lounge you are greeted by a lovingly furnished room complete with quirky pieces of furniture and a gorgeous open fire. Curl up on the chairs with the flames flickering and enjoy watching your favourite programmes on the Smart TV. Through to the kitchen/diner there is a wonderfully unique dining table to enjoy any home cooked meals at and a well-equipped kitchen comprising of an electric oven and hob microwave fridge and washing machine. Upstairs the double bedroom features a TV and has lovely views across the fields and to the sea beyond. The shower room is immaculately finished with a large walk-in shower and WC. The final room is a snug which has two comfortable chairs and just across a few cottage gardens at the edge of the village lies the sea creating the perfect romantic and relaxing setting. Outside is a lovely cottage style garden with a great lawn and mature planting creating a little rural haven. Relax on the outside seating and listen the birds over morning coffee or enjoy a BBQ after a day of exploring. Need to know: Sleeps 2 Bedroom 1 double. Bathroom 1 shower room. This beautiful cottage is accessed via a small country lane and located within seven acres of meadows and traditional broadleaf woodland with abundant wildlife and is just a mile from the Eden Project. In addition there is the Saints Way Pilgrim Trail and close by are The Lost Gardens of Heligan numerous National Trust properties and gardens Tate St Ives and much more. A five minute drive leads you to Cornwall s south coast which offers glorious beaches secluded coves and picturesque fishing villages including Looe Polperro and Mevagissey. Par Sands is within 3 miles a lovely sandy beach surrounded by sand dunes with a small pond - recently named as one of the top 7 best dog friendly beaches by PDSA it s ideal for playing and walking your dog and having a paddle in the sea. For something different why not take a stroll or the cycle route to the village of Luxulyan and take the local train to Newquay or try your hand at fishing only two miles away. There is a year round dog friendly beach within very short driving distance. This cosy cottage offers an upside-down style accommodation so on entering via a flight of external steps you will find yourself in the inviting and comfy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner area. You can relax in the welcoming lounge with its TV/DVD and there is also Free WiFi available. You can find everything you may need in the kitchen area including oven gas hob small fridge/freezer and microwave. Taking the spiral staircase downstairs you will find the snug and cosy double bedroom which is equipped with TV/DVD and a compact en-suite shower room with WC. From the living space a door leads out onto the first-floor veranda with seating. The external staircase leads down to the enclosed garden from which there are plenty of woodland walks to be enjoyed. There is secure storage for bikes is available underneath the property. Bring sparkle to your winter and excitement to your summer at the Eden Project. Get your skates on for ice skating fun during winter and enjoy the seasonal activities festive lights or explore the rainforest at twilight. In summer get your dancing shoes on and enjoy world famous top musicians with the Eden Sessions (all events and skating opening dates can be found on Eden Project website) - ice skating is available from 14th October 2023 to February 2024 including half term week. Only a short drive from the A30 you will have an easily accessible link to all areas from the western towns of St Ives and Penzance to the south coast with Falmouth and St Austell or the surfer s haven of Newquay just north. Perranporth is just a short trip with three miles of golden sand and an abundance of amenities. Greeted by the open plan lounge/kitchen/diner on entering the property the homely décor and vibe create a welcoming space in your holiday cottage. The whole floor is slate with a rug covering much of the lounge area to keep your feet warm when relaxing on the comfortable furnishings watching the TV/DVD. There is also a feature stone fireplace with an electric heater to keep the chill off in the colder months. The dining table is large enough to seat up to four people whilst the kitchen is fully fitted with an electric oven and hob dishwasher microwave washer/dryer fridge and freezer. The cottage has two bedrooms both of a good size and lovingly decorated; the first room is light and airy with a king-size bed whilst the second room has twin singles.
