Spend days exploring the area with picnic or paddle in hand explore ancient ruins high wires and cycle routes in the nearby Forest of Dean or stride out for the mountains in the Brecon Beacons National Park. Back up at the hut sunshine dapples through the canopy views stretch out for miles sheep graze and if you re lucky deer bound past. There s every reason not to venture far at all. A giant of a shepherds hut every comfort has been considered from the cosiest of king-size cabin beds warmest of wood burning stoves and lashings of hot water in the shower.
