A wooded, adults-only touring park on Gale Lane at Harome, a mile or so from Helmsley. Well behaved dogs are permitted and the park keeps a proper exercise area with a woodland walk and an open run.
A luxurious small hotel around a duck pond in the pretty village of Harome, a couple of miles from Helmsley, with a serious kitchen. Quiet, well-behaved dogs are accepted in two Courtyard rooms and two suites (bring your dog's own bed and towels), and on the terrace on a lead, with the bar possible at quieter times at the duty manager's discretion; the main hotel is otherwise pet free. Book the dog-friendly rooms well ahead.
