Take your pick from the array of peaceful walking and cycling routes or take a trip to join the South West Coast Path less than 10 miles away. If golden sandy beaches and turquoise waters are more your style the village of Bigbury-on-Sea is 9 miles south of the property and has a stunning beach with access to Burgh Island at low tide. Other popular South Devon destinations include the Woodlands family theme park Paignton Zoo and the lively naval city of Plymouth all within 18 miles of the tent. This luxury wooden framed canvas safari tent is the ultimate rural retreat it s spacious enough for couples friends and family members to enjoy at ease. The tent is comfortably furnished so there is no need to do without those little home comforts. The living space contains everything you need including a corner sofa wood burner power sockets charging points and soft lighting. The kitchen is complete with two ring electric hob fridge and microwave. The dining space is situated just outside on the terrace space so you can relax in the sun at breakfast. You can make your way through the sliding doors into each of the two bedrooms provided: the first bedroom contains a double bed and the second bedroom has bunk single beds. Situated between the bedrooms is the shower room containing a shower and WC. This can be accessed independently from each bedroom. Making your way outside the tent you will see why this is the perfect place to relax. The eco-friendly wood-fired hot tub offers the perfect way to unwind with family and friends. The crackle of the wood fire and the soothing sensation of hot water guarantees a unique and relaxing experience. You also have the luxury of a fire pit and outdoor seating where you can roast those marshmallows. There is ample parking for two cars directly outside the tent. Need to know: 2 bedrooms 1 double bed, 1 bunk bed. 1 bathroom shower and WC. Two ring electric hob, Air fryer, fridge with ice compartment, and microwave. Highchair and travel cot available on request. Wood burner (first basket of logs provided extra wood can be purchased from the honesty shop on site). For something more relaxing the village of Bigbury-on-Sea is 9 miles south of the property and has a stunning sandy beach with access to Burgh Island at low tide. Other nearby attractions and places of interest in the area include the historic naval city of Plymouth Woodlands Adventure Park Paignton Zoo Dartmoor National Park Dartmouth Steam Railway Torre Abbey and numerous National Trust properties (all within 22 miles). Step inside this charming property and find yourself in the entrance hall leading to the ground floor shower room with a WC. Follow the hallway to the lovely kitchen which has everything you need to create a family meal including an electric oven and hob fridge/freezer microwave dishwasher and a dining area. At the rear of the property are the two beautiful ground-floor bedrooms: a super-king-size zip-and-link (which can be made into a twin on request) with a single bed and a twin room. Moving up the stairs to the first floor will take you to the open-plan lounge/diner a wonderful open space complete with original beams and a mezzanine area for those looking for a quiet spot to sit and read with countryside views. The lounge has plenty of comfortable seating surrounding the Smart TV for all guests to unwind after a busy day exploring the local area and a wood burner to keep cosy during winter evenings. There is also another shower room with WC located on this floor as well as a small utility area featuring a washing machine and an area to dry clothes. Outside the property there is a small enclosed garden which offers a private hot tub seating a great spot to take in the sun or for some evening al fresco dining around the fire pit. There is also a lovely lawned area which is perfect for guests with a dog or for children wanting to play outside. There is off-road parking for two cars located at the side of the property. Guests will also be able to walk around the designated areas of the farm to see the poultry peacock and pigs.
