Ulverston · 1 checked & stamped
Lunch with the dog under the table, not tied to a post outside. Where Ulverston says yes indoors, we say so — and where it is the terrace only, we say that too.
A vegetarian cafe inside Conishead Priory on the coast road south of Ulverston, open daily from eleven to five with last orders at twenty to five. The centre states that your four-legged friend is welcome, and provides water bowls and towels; there is a lounge next to the cafe where you can have lunch with a dog, plus outdoor seating under cover. Dogs must be on a lead here as they must be everywhere in the grounds. It is the obvious stop after the woodland and shore walk in the priory grounds, and the whole place shuts from mid-July to mid-August for the summer festival.
Know a Ulverston pub, cafe or place to stay that lets dogs in? Tell us and we will go and check it.
ADD A PLACEKnow one we have missed?
Local knowledge beats desk research every time. Name the place and we will check it properly — the venue's own policy, confirmed, then stamped and dated like every other listing.
One short email when we add places or a council changes its beach rules. No noise, easy out.
