Old Midland Railway station a mile north of Bakewell, now a cafe, bookshop and the main cycle hire for the Monsal Trail. The cafe says dogs are always welcome, and the trailside terrace is the sensible spot when the trail is busy with bikes. There is accommodation on site, though the bedroom dog policy is not published.
