An old village pub much extended over the years and now firmly food-led, with a carvery running five days a week and an original core of low ceilings, exposed brick, settles and Britannia tables. The pub states plainly that it cannot accommodate dogs inside the building, but they are welcome outside. A fine-weather stop rather than a wet-day one.
