Skelton on Ure · 1 checked & stamped
Fires, flagstones and no side-eye at the bar. Every pub below lets the dog in — and we say exactly which rooms.
A community-owned pub close to the entrance to Newby Hall, rescued by the village after Admiral Taverns closed and tinned it up in 2019. Dogs are welcome with no restrictions, and the reopened bar has the unhurried feel of a local that people fought to keep. A useful stop on the lanes between Boroughbridge and Ripon, though note that Newby Hall itself does not admit dogs.

Local knowledge beats desk research every time. Name the place and we will check it properly — the venue's own policy, confirmed, then stamped and dated like every other listing.
One short email when we add places or a council changes its beach rules. No noise, easy out.
