A largish traditional pub in a small village on the ridge above the Ure, with old beams, half-timbered internal walls and a big tiled bar area, under new independent ownership since April 2026. Dogs are welcome with no restrictions and the inn makes a point of having room for all the family, four-legged members included. Several smaller rooms behind the bar are laid out for eating.
