Village pub in Lanivet, on the Saints' Way between Padstow and Fowey and near enough the geographical middle of Cornwall. Dogs are welcome under St Austell Brewery's managed-house policy, with a bowl and biscuits kept behind the bar. A quiet inland stop with parking, unlike almost anywhere on the coast in August.
