Helperby · 1 checked & stamped
Fires, flagstones and no side-eye at the bar. Every pub below lets the dog in — and we say exactly which rooms.
An award-winning village inn on the crossroads between Helperby and Brafferton, with a crackling fire in the original tap room and a newer glass-and-oak dining room behind it. The inn answers the dog question with a flat yes, and dogs settle in the traditional tap room where the full menu is also served. Overnight guests bringing a dog are asked to book the Hornbeam room.

ADD A PLACEKnow one we have missed?
Local knowledge beats desk research every time. Name the place and we will check it properly — the venue's own policy, confirmed, then stamped and dated like every other listing.
One short email when we add places or a council changes its beach rules. No noise, easy out.
