Fowey · 3 checked & stamped
Fires, flagstones and no side-eye at the bar. Every pub below lets the dog in — and we say exactly which rooms.
Bar and restaurant on the Fowey waterfront with a terrace over the harbour. Dogs are permitted in the bar, the lounge and the outside terrace but not the main restaurant. Be clear on the sleeping arrangements: dogs are only accepted in the self-catering apartment, not in any of the guest bedrooms.
Waterside pub on Fowey's Town Quay, with a suntrap courtyard right on the river and the Polruan ferry landing a few yards off. There are plenty of tables inside and the pub states it is dog friendly, so you are not exiled to the quay when the weather turns. Rooms above are let separately.
Small St Austell Brewery local on Fowey's Fore Street, a step off the water and the least fussy pint in town. Dogs are welcome under the brewery's managed-house policy, with a water bowl and biscuits behind the bar. Ring ahead if you want to eat rather than just drink.

Local knowledge beats desk research every time. Name the place and we will check it properly — the venue's own policy, confirmed, then stamped and dated like every other listing.
One short email when we add places or a council changes its beach rules. No noise, easy out.
