Ampleforth · 1 checked & stamped
Fires, flagstones and no side-eye at the bar. Every pub below lets the dog in — and we say exactly which rooms.
Ampleforth's village gastropub, relaunched in late 2024 with a Michelin-trained chef, seasonal menus and local ales, plus a large beer garden looking over the Howardian Hills fringe. It is proudly dog friendly, with four-legged visitors welcome in the bar area - the resident cocker spaniel is a Sunday lunchtime regular. Good staging post between Helmsley, Byland Abbey and the White Horse of Kilburn.

ADD A PLACEKnow one we have missed?
Local knowledge beats desk research every time. Name the place and we will check it properly — the venue's own policy, confirmed, then stamped and dated like every other listing.
One short email when we add places or a council changes its beach rules. No noise, easy out.
