Three and a half miles of sand backed by the Braunton Burrows dunes, privately managed by Christie Estates. Dogs are allowed all year, unusually for a beach this size, but must be on leads in front of the beach huts; parts of the Burrows behind carry seasonal lead requirements of their own under the district order.
