Wentworth · 1 checked & stamped
Days out where the dog is on the guest list, not tied up outside.
The longest country house frontage in Europe, sitting in fifty acres of garden and parkland above Wentworth village north of Rotherham. Unusually for a house of this size, dogs are allowed indoors: the trust states they may go in the gardens, the Shoot Room of the Butler's Pantry Cafe and the ground floor of the mansion, everywhere on a lead. The house admission route itself is off limits to anything but an assistance dog. Parking is free for visitors, and the gardens are level enough for a wheelchair, so this is a straightforward outing rather than a scramble.
Know a Wentworth pub, cafe or place to stay that lets dogs in? Tell us and we will go and check it.
ADD A PLACEKnow one we have missed?
Local knowledge beats desk research every time. Name the place and we will check it properly — the venue's own policy, confirmed, then stamped and dated like every other listing.
One short email when we add places or a council changes its beach rules. No noise, easy out.
