Days out where the dog is on the guest list, not tied up outside.
The Duchess of Northumberland's twelve-acre walled garden below the castle, with the Grand Cascade, the Poison Garden and the treehouse. Do not assume this one either way: the garden is open to dogs on two days a week only. Its own visitor FAQ states "The Alnwick Garden is dog friendly on Thursdays and Sundays, when well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome", with a maximum of two dogs per person. Outside those Dog Days, dogs can still use the walkway between the Alnwick Town and Denwick Lane entrances at any time, and The Bakery takes dogs on leads every day. Lilidorei, the play village on the same site, admits registered guide and assistance dogs only, and they must be recognisable as working dogs by harness or lead.

ADD A PLACEKnow one we have missed?
Local knowledge beats desk research every time. Name the place and we will check it properly — the venue's own policy, confirmed, then stamped and dated like every other listing.
One short email when we add places or a council changes its beach rules. No noise, easy out.
