Set on the edge of the village of Shebbear down a quiet country track this property provides fantastic views across rural Devon countryside and Dartmoor. Within walking distance you will find the local dog friendly village pub and village shop. The coast is just a short distance away the nearest beach being Bucks Mills 12 miles from the cottage. Long golden sands can be found at Devon s Westward Ho beach or Cornwall s Bude beaches (both 18 miles). The fishing villages of Appledore (15 miles) and Clovelly (14.5 miles) are both worth a visit and home to such attractions as The Big Sheep and The Milky Way adventure parks. Water sports enthusiasts will love the North Devon Wake Park (12.5 miles) where you can experience paddle boarding wakeboarding or the Aqua Park that hosts inflatable slides climbing frames and obstacles. Nearby there is traffic-free walking route the Tarka Trail which is also a great choice for cyclists and dog walkers. Stepping into this spacious upside-down property and entering via the ground floor where all three of the bedrooms and bathrooms are situated you will find a master bedroom with a super king-size bed zip and link and French doors that open onto a front patio area. This room overlooks the garden and also has a lovely en-suite shower room. The other two bedrooms one king-size and one a king size bedroom with additional single bed and the family bathroom completes this floor. Up the stairs on the first floor you can fully appreciate the amazing views. To your right is a wonderful kitchen/diner with high ceilings and exposed beams that is well-equipped with everything you need to rustle up a light snack or a formal three-course meal. The traditional dining table makes eating together a joy. The lounge area is a cosy space with more exposed beams and comfy sofas Free WiFi a TV/DVD with a selection of DVDs and books and a wood burner (first basket of logs included) making for a warm and welcoming evenings in. Outside just across the drive is your private garden with a picnic table giant garden games and space for ball games. There is an indoor gym boasting a treadmill exercise bike cross trainer and more- all bookable with the owner direct. The adjacent half-acre enclosed paddock is an area ideal for exercising dogs off the lead. At the top of the drive is another barn which has been made into a games room and has table tennis for you to enjoy.
