But if you fancy going a bit further Dunster Castle (19 miles) is situated in the north of the National Park and offers a great day out for kids and dogs. Your hounds will love Blue Anchor beach (21.5 miles) and hunt for fossils or get involved at the Tiverton Railway Centre (17.5 miles) and clip tickets or wave the flag to see off the historic trains.
