2 places on our list here — pubs that let the dog in, beach access. Every verdict below was checked by a human — the stamp shows when.
Family-run pub, restaurant and rooms looking straight down onto Widemouth Bay, under new ownership since 2024. The inn describes a dog-friendly bar where furry friends feel at home; it does not extend that in writing to the restaurant or the bedrooms. There are rooms above with balcony views, so ask about dogs when you book rather than assuming.

ADD A PLACEA mile and a half of sand and low reef south of Bude, split by a rocky spine at low tide. ADD A PLACEKnow one we have missed?
Local knowledge beats desk research every time. Name the place and we will check it properly — the venue's own policy, confirmed, then stamped and dated like every other listing.
One short email when we add places or a council changes its beach rules. No noise, easy out.
